To work in partnership with businesses and governmental entities to

promote commerce and tourism while maintaining and enhancing

the environment.

What is the Chamber of Commerce?

The Rockport-Fulton Area Chamber of Commerce is a voluntary organization of businesses and individuals who are investing their time and money in a community development program – working together to improve the economic, civic and cultural well-being of the area.

* Exposure for Your Business through various opportunities including the CAT Pot Sponsor at the Chamber Luncheon; Business Showcase booth; complimentary listings in the membership directory; corporate table purchases at functions; opportunities to host Chamber functions; event sponsorships; news articles and advertising and listing/link on internet.

*Advertising Opportunities in our newsletter and in the membership directory; the Fishing Guide Booklet; Internet advertising program; include your brochures in our monthly mailing; purchase mailing labels for nominal fees.

*Committee Involvement is the best way to ensure that your Chamber participation is meaningful and beneficial to you and your company. Committee work will enable you to augment new business associations and serve as your own leadership development program. Chamber Board members generally are first identified through their committee service.

* Ribbon Cutting/Grand Opening/Ground Breaking ceremonies are conducted free of charge to new businesses. Ask about our complimentary Grand Opening Banner.

* Small Business Assistance through business counseling and informative seminars, provided complimentary by the nearest SBDC Center; informative seminars are held at various locations throughout the winter months.

* Access to information such as maps, demographic data, our promotional DVDs and other valuable resources.

* Visitor Center is a great place for your brochures, business cards, menus, etc. In the winter months (January thru March) 150-200 people stop in each hour and that is an average of 21 people per hour.

* The Voice for Business and Community Issues in communicating our concerns and issues to local, state and national leaders. Ask about Aransas County Day at the Legislature.

* Opportunities to Contribute your talents and resources to enhance our community - a way to give back and show that you care.

* Events such as “Business After Hours” provide networking opportunities.

More About Your Membership …

The membership covered by this application shall be considered as renewed from year to year unless notice is given in writing prior to renewal date. Annual investments are to be paid in advance. For Federal Income Tax purposes, your membership investment in the Rockport-Fulton Area Chamber of Commerce, plus payments for Chamber publications, advertising and other services may be deductible as an ordinary and necessary business expense.

The Rockport-Fulton Area Chamber of Commerce is not a charity, but serves as an advocate organization for area business. Dues paid to the Chamber of Commerce are not a charitable tax deduction.

Your dues investment is determined by the Board of Directors and varies according to the size of your business. See the Fair Share Investment Formula for the categories and further information.
