Education Committee

Objective: To develop a relationship with our school system and encourage the students of our community to know their community and their Chamber of Commerce.

Accomplishments:
*Liaison between the ACISD, the Chamber and the community with a focus on employment opportunities for our youth

*Encourage students to participate in events and festivals.
*Work with Hummer/Bird Celebration to inform teachers of TEA Environmental credits for attending lectures

*Coordinate Honorary Pages and cause a student from each school to attend Aransas County Day at the Legislature 
*Coordinate speakers to the high school for Career Day

*Work with counselors at highs school and coordinate a Youth Leadership Conference and Graduation Banquet
