" I'm glad that you thought so much of my photos. We sure loved being in Rockport to take them! We were in San Antonio for my oldest daughter's band tour in the spring. After her tour we all headed for the coast photographing wildflowers along the way. When we got to the coast we had a great time out on the Gulf looking for Whooping Cranes and playing on the beaches in
Aransas County. The people were nice and the weather spectacular-what more could you want? Thanks again for the consideration of these photos!"

Our family enjoys the Coastal Bend area and
visit there to play on the beach and fish. My husband is
an avid fisherman and I go out with him to photograph the many
birds and scenes in and around the bay. Our son, daughter
and their families often accompany us to the area and our
four grandsons (ages 2-5) love to play at the Rockport beach
building sandcastles, splashing in the water and playing on the
playground. They love for their Papa to help them
fish for piggy perch around the docks and he hopes they
will love fishing as much as he does. I enjoy
watching them and helping them discover the fun that can be had
at the beach. The usual trip also includes doing some
searching the local shops for unique gift items and souvenirs.
The
photo of our oldest grandson, Max, was the winner in the
"people" category. I knew all the time he had a
"winning" smile and now that has been confirmed.

for choosing my photograph. I’m glad you like it as much as I do.
We go to Rockport about twice a month to enjoy the beach and all the
great places to eat. There are also so many photo opportunities
there it always makes for an enjoyable trip. My wife and I belong to
the local Harley club and we like to make the ride to Rockport as
often as possible. I also have a passion for nature photography and
spend a lot of time at Aransas Wildlife Refuge. We always find
something interesting to photograph there. We’ve met the nicest
people in Rockport!
